Summary
CST Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time, highly-motivated Utility Engineer to join our Utility Engineering Department. CST Engineering, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm headquartered in Columbia, MD that employs a staff of experienced professionals within the civil engineering field. The firm is MBE/DBE certified with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), Prince George’s County, and the City of Baltimore.

Primary Responsibilities
A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Assist in performing utility design/relocation design (water, sewer, conduit).
• Assist with utility agency coordination.
• Prepare utility conflict matrices.
• Prepare design calculation, contract drawings, cost estimate, quantities, specifications, and special provisions.
• Provide CADD support.
• Perform construction phase services.

Minimum Qualifications:
All potential applicants shall possess the following characteristics:

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• No minimum experience required.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required.
• Valid Maryland Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• CADD experience (AutoCAD/MicroStation) required.
